I want to start making new songs or tinkering with original songs everyday. This is day 1 of doing that!

This song I wrote a while ago, but I'm excited to work on it more intentionally in the coming few days and see what it turns into. I like the melodies in it. It feels very, very Peter Cat Recording Co. inspired. I want it to be sort of haunting, like something you would hear at a campfire. It's inspired by a quote from Nisargadatta Maharaj. I can't remember it exactly off the top of my head, but basically, somebody asks him if he believes in reincarnation. And Maharaj takes issue with the very premise of that question: that there even if such a thing as birth and death. He proclaims he was never even born in the first place. Ultimate reality is beyond birth and death.
